Share your time, skills, and passion to support older Alaskans in your community. Lending a hand with daily activities, offering a friendly smile at the front desk, or teaching a hobby you love, every volunteer makes a difference.
Volunteer Opportunities

Front Desk
Welcome visitors with a smile, assist with check-ins, and help seniors use our computer kiosk system if needed.
10am - 1pm

Gift Shop
Assist with organizing inventory, creating displays, and helping at the register. (Volunteers must complete a fingerprint background check.)
11am - 3pm

Tai Chi Instructor
Lead seniors in safe, gentle Tai Chi sessions. Instructors should be familiar with the needs and abilities of older adults.

Do you have a hobby, skill, or art form you’d like to share? We welcome volunteers to lead classes and workshops, giving seniors a chance to learn something new and have fun. Contact us to explore opportunities.

Lawn care: summertime to cut grass (as needed)
