Our Chore and Respite programs are designed to make daily life easier for seniors and their caregivers. From household tasks to much-needed caregiver relief, we provide the extra help that allows seniors to remain at home safely and with dignity.

Chore Services

Keeping up with the housework can be tough. Enjoy a clean, relaxing home with the help of someone who can take care of your main living areas. Our chore workers are experienced at making your home clean, comfortable, and beautiful.

Cleaning Services Include:

    • Cleaning main living areas

    • Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors

    • Wiping windows and surfaces

    • Emptying trash and recycling

    • Sanitizing tubs, showers, toilets, and sinks

    • Washing and folding personal and household laundry

    • Changing bed sheets and linens

    • Cleaning major and small appliances

    • Scouring sinks and wiping backsplashes

    • Grocery shopping and basic meal preparation

    • Hauling firewood indoors

    • Clearing snow from walkways and entry paths

Eligibility & Cost

Our Chore Services are available to:

  • Seniors age 60+ who are physically or emotionally frail

  • Individuals of any age with an Alzheimer’s Disease or Related Disorders (ADRD) diagnosis

  • Individuals of any age with a physical disability

  • Anyone eligible for the Medicaid Waiver (CHOICE) Program

  • Those able to pay the full price for services

How we determine cost:

Rates are based on a sliding scale, determined by the income of the individual(s) receiving services. In many cases, the cost may be fully or partially covered through the Medicaid Waiver (CHOICE) Program.

Respite Services

Respite services are designed to provide the family caregiver a much-needed break from caring for a loved one so you can relieve stress, restore energy, and provide the life balance you need to provide the best care.

Services Include:

  • Friendly visits, conversation, and support to reduce isolation.

  • Engaging games, crafts, or occasional supervised outings.

    * Some activities must be approved in advance

  • Help with hygiene, bathing, and incontinence support.

  • Simple, nutritious meals and snacks.

  • Gentle walks or light exercise for well-being.

    * Some activities must be approved in advance

Eligibility & Cost

Respite Services are available to family caregivers who are caring for someone who is:

  • Age 60 or older

  • Any age with an Alzheimer’s Disease or Related Disorders (ADRD) diagnosis

  • Any age with a physical disability
