We are always offering volunteer opportunities and truly appreciate our volunteers!

Volunteer Opportunities
Front Desk:
10 am to 1 pm: greeting people as they walk in, making sure everyone is checking in, helping with the check-in process if necessary using a computer kiosk system.
Gift Shop:
11 am to 3 pm: Help organize inventory, act as a cashier, and display creation.
Volunteers will be required to complete a fingerprint background check.
Tai Chi Instructor:
Set own schedule, need to know how to work with seniors and know what their bodies can handle.
Miscellaneous:
Lawn care: summertime to cut grass (as needed)
Area beautification: fall/summer pick up leaves (as needed)
Activities:
If you are someone that has a cool hobby and wants to share it with others so they can learn how to do it. An instructor for a certain type of art and want to share your skills. Please contact us to discuss further.
Becoming a Volunteer is Easy!
The art of volunteering is learned on the job! We are here to help you along the way.
After you submit your inquiry, we will get in contact to place you in the best area to help. Then, we will schedule an orientation.
Orientation is a one hour introduction to Mat-Su Senior Services and what we do. We have a mandatory video on sexual harassment that is played as well.
After orientation, the wheel is yours to steer!
