BRANDI BURCHETT has been selected as the new CEO of Mat-Su Senior Services effective April 2022. A longtime resident of North Carolina, Brandi moved to the Mat-Su Borough in July 2019, leaving the role of the Vice President of a Behavioral Health Services at a Federally Qualified Health Center. Brandi chose to step into Alaska in the role of Senior Clinical Director before being promoted to Chief Clinical Officer and subsequently the Chief Operations Officer. Brandi earned her master’s degree in Counseling from Webster University and has over 12 years of counseling experience and 9 years of supervision experience. Brandi will be completing her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Mount Olive, with a concentration in Healthcare Administration in July of this year.
Brandi currently holds the credentials of Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, National Certified Counselor, Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist, Certified Clinical Supervisor, Approved Counseling Supervisor, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and Master Addiction Counselor. Brandi resides in the Matanuska Valley with her family and takes pleasure in considering herself a lifetime learner. She enjoys learning, singing, acting, teaching and continuous development in providing servant leadership. In her short duration of being an Alaskan resident she has explored Denali, Juneau, Seward, Kenai, Ketchikan, Fairbanks and is excited to see more of this great state. Brandi stands strong in the vision and long-term betterment of the Mat-Su area. She is excited to onboard and be united with the community on behalf of Mat-Su Senior Services.
