Our Agency works and assists in taking care of our senior citizens. This position requires someone to wear multiple hats and possess unique managerial skill-sets. Summary and Objectives
This position is responsible for:
Volunteer Coordination: Planning, organizing and directing the volunteer programs associated with the Mat-Su Senior’s board of directors and departments.
Event Marketing, Booking and Management: Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of events to successfully meet deadlines and objectives while building positive relationships with event participants, partners, and supporters.
Donation Management: The goal is to manage current donations, both monetary and in-kind, as well as increasing visibility, increasing donor retention, and increasing funding/donors

Position:Onsite Direct Care Workers  

Mat-Su Senior Services is currently accepting applications for an Onsite Direct Care Worker position in the Mat-Su Borough.  

Minimum qualifications include:   Must be able to pass a background check and CPR/First Certification training.   Flexible schedules.

Position: Chore and Respite Workers

Set your own schedule and help senior citizens in our community.  Flexible schedules, minimum 15-20 hours per week in the Palmer, Wasilla, and KGB areas.  Direct Care Workers needed, working in client’s home providing chore and/or respite services. Must like interacting with people, specifically senior citizens. Chore workers provide chore services such as light cleaning, laundry, vacuuming, and grocery shopping for clients. Respite workers provide the client’s caregiver a break while providing safe meaningful socialization and activities with the client.

Must be able to pass a background check, have reliable transportation, and be at least 18 years of age.  CPR, first aid, and negative TB upon hire.  Experience preferred but not required.  Starting pay $13.50 depending on experience.
